California Motorcycle RiderEvents · Statewide
Privacy

Privacy policy.

Riders do not need an account, and the site collects as little as it can. Here is the whole list.

Analytics

We use Clicky to count visits and see which pages are used. It records the page you viewed, the time, your browser type and your IP address, and sets a cookie to tell repeat visits apart. Clicky's own privacy policy covers exactly how it handles that data. We do not sell or share it ourselves.

Location

“Near me” asks your browser for your location only when you tap it. The coordinates are put in the page address so the calendar can sort by distance. We do not save them to our database or attach them to your name or email. Because they are part of the page address while you use that view, they can appear in standard web server and analytics logs the same way any other page address would, for as long as those systems normally keep logs. Close the “near me” view and the address, and the coordinates in it, is gone.

Event submissions

When you submit an event, we keep your name, email and optional phone number so we can confirm details or send a correction. They are never published and never shared. The event details themselves are public.

Home-screen app

Adding the site to your home screen stores a small offline page in your browser so the site opens without a connection. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Links to other sites

Registration, ticket and directions links go to organizers, registration platforms and map providers. Their privacy policies apply once you leave.

Questions or deletion

To have your submission contact details deleted, get in touch with the event name.
