How we verify listings.
Sources
Every event comes from a named source: an organizer's website or calendar feed, a track schedule, a registration platform, a public Facebook event, or a direct submission from the organizer. The source and the date we last checked it are shown at the bottom of every event page.
Daily checks
Automated sources are re-read every morning. If an organizer changes a date, time or venue, the listing is flagged Updated and re-reviewed. If the organizer marks it cancelled, or the event disappears from their calendar, it is flagged Cancelled or pulled from the list.
Review before publishing
New events from most sources, and every direct submission, are reviewed by a person before they go live. We publish only events riders can attend or sign up for, and only in California.
What we do not do
- We do not copy organizers' text or photos. Listings hold the facts (what, when, where, cost, link) and point you to the organizer for the rest.
- We do not take ticket fees or commissions. Registration links go straight to the organizer.
- We do not guarantee an event will run. Weather, permits and organizers change plans. Confirm with them before you ride out.
